“I don't leave many reviews but i found Josh while looking for a tutor for calc 3, and while this was my first time using wyzant I had no clue how great he was compared to others, which is something I quickly learned while finding tutors for other subjects. One of the main things that Josh does that I appreciate greatly is that he uses an external whiteboard, which allows you to save the link to it and reference it again while studying, a feature not readily available on Wyzant without saving many pages of screenshots. This combined with his clear method of explaining has made me sign up for his lessons from calc 3, calc 4 (quarter system), and through the linear algebra series where he's been a great help every step of the way, providing little shortcuts to cut down on time for these otherwise tedious problems, and my grades would not have improved to what they are now without his help. Genuinely recommended if you need assistance in the calculus series and basically any form of math.”

“It was a pleasure to work with Josh who not only had an excellent grasp on Precalculus, but also guided me through SAT math prep and expanded my overall math understanding. Josh's approachability made it easy to ask questions without feeling intimidated. Moreover, his flexibility with scheduling was a very useful. He accommodated my busy schedule, always finding time for our sessions, which made the learning process incredibly convenient. In fact, we set up once a week lessons which really helped to streamline the process. In regards to the actual lessons, Josh was very good at explaining the math concepts in a simple and understandable manner. He always broke down each concept into smaller pieces, and walked through every step, checking in to make sure that I am understanding everything up until that point.
