He arrived to the session on time and fully prepared with notes and graphs to help you learn. He typed up a notes page for helpful information and let you keep all notes and graphs. He took the time to explain things clearly and didn't move on until you were comfortable with the material. I definitely recommend him to anyone! He helped me with my Calculus problems and made the subject a lot clearer for me.”

“It was my daughter's first tutoring lesson from John. He taught her about transformations of functions: Algebra II. Before my daughter's first tutoring session John suggested that I send him an example of what she was studying at school as a way of getting a head start of what she would require knowledge-wise from him. After sending John some of my daughter's current Algebra II assignments, John followed up by sending us a study guide for her to review prior to her tutoring session. I thought that this was above and beyond what was required of a regular tutor. After my daughter's tutoring session she told me that John was nice and patient and that he explained things in an understandable and simple way. My daughter noted that John was on time and in fact early and waiting for her to arrive online. My daughter told me that John told her that if she had any questions to send him a message and he would answer them without charging extra. He told her that it is important to him that she understands and advances in her studies.”

He's very patient and positive but also is honest about what needs to change to make progress (ie. he mentioned that my son needs to work harder in between sessions if he's to be ready for the SAT's in time.
